How to cancel DreamBF: renewal, account fees and deletion

A four-part closure checklist based on the published policies, with a clear separation between stopping renewal and closing an account.

To leave DreamBF, first decide what you want to stop: the recurring membership, any separate account fee, access to the account, or storage of particular data. Those are different outcomes. This guide provides an original closure checklist so you can record a result for each one instead of treating a single cancellation message as proof that everything is finished.

We checked the linked public policies on September 28, 2026. We have not purchased a membership or cancelled a paid account, so we cannot confirm the current sequence of account buttons. Use the controls and official support route actually available in your account. The DreamBF review covers the broader product and subscription decision.

Define the result you need before changing the account

An original closure checklist: four separate outcomes
Outcome Useful confirmation
Stop membership renewal Renewal disabled, effective date and membership reference
Resolve other recurring charges Written clarification of any account-maintenance fee
Close the account Account closure confirmation and any access consequences
Request data deletion Response naming the data covered and any retained categories

You may want only the first outcome. For example, you might stop renewing while keeping access during a period you already paid for. Alternatively, you may intend to leave entirely. Write the goal down before proceeding, because an account-deletion confirmation answers a different question from a billing confirmation.

Save a small billing record you can understand later

Keep the service name, membership term, last charge date, amount, currency, receipt reference and displayed renewal date. If more than one payment exists, record each one separately. A token purchase and a membership payment may be different transactions; a matching amount alone does not identify the reason for a charge.

Save the relevant account status and confirmation outside the account before closing it. Keep unnecessary personal material out of the record: you do not need a conversation transcript to document a renewal setting. Use a short filename that identifies the date and purpose, and store it somewhere you can find without signing back in.

Stop membership renewal and record the effective date

The membership policy says cancellation leaves membership active until the current billing cycle ends. It also describes restrictions on refunds after use. These are the provider’s published terms; this page does not determine their application to an individual dispute.

Open the membership or billing controls actually shown in your signed-in account. Read the confirmation screen before accepting a change. If you cannot find a cancellation option, use the official support route for the exact account and ask to stop recurring membership renewal. Do not assume a change happened because you closed the tab or stopped using the service.

Record whether the result names the membership, when it becomes effective and whether another renewal is scheduled. If a date is unclear, ask for it explicitly. Keep the request time separate from the confirmed effective time. A request awaiting a response should remain marked as pending in your checklist.

Check the maintenance-fee clause separately

Section 7 of the same policy reserves a possible $1.99 monthly maintenance charge for previously paying accounts and points to account deletion for users who do not want it. We have not observed this fee being applied to an account. Its presence means you should ask whether it applies to yours rather than assuming membership cancellation resolves every future charge.

Make the question specific: does this account have any recurring charge after membership renewal is stopped, and what action ends it? Save the answer alongside the membership confirmation. If the response mentions only the subscription, mark the other-charge question unresolved. This is a way to avoid an ambiguous record, not evidence that every former subscriber receives the fee.

Separate account closure, data deletion and content removal

DreamBF’s Deletion Strategy page concerns generated content resembling a real person and a support-led removal process. It is not a step-by-step membership cancellation guide. A complaint about one image should therefore not be used as your only record of a request to stop renewal.

The privacy policy describes retention according to processing purposes and legal requirements, and requests about personal data. It does not establish that every record disappears instantly when a profile becomes inaccessible. Ask which data your request covers and whether any category remains, rather than treating an inability to log in as proof of complete erasure.

Before an irreversible closure, decide whether there is any material you want to keep and can legitimately save. Keep billing evidence separate from creative files. You should not need to reactivate a subscription just to reconstruct which cancellation request you sent.

Write a request that can be answered precisely

The following is an original template to adapt, not a message we have sent:

Please stop recurring membership renewal for the account associated with this request. Please confirm the effective date and any remaining paid access. Also confirm whether any separate recurring account or maintenance charge applies after cancellation, and what action ends it. If I choose account closure, please explain the separate steps for requesting deletion of my personal data.

Use the official account or support channel linked by the provider. Add a receipt reference if needed, but do not send passwords, full card numbers or unrelated private conversation content. If the service requires identity verification, assess the actual request and destination before sending documents. This guide does not establish what verification a particular request will need.

Reconcile the final result against your checklist

After receiving a response, mark each of the four outcomes as confirmed, pending or not requested. A clear record can legitimately have different statuses: membership renewal stopped, maintenance question pending, account kept open, data deletion not requested. That is more useful than one vague label saying “cancelled.”

If another charge appears, match its date and description to your saved record before deciding what it represents. Use the receipt’s payment channel and the provider’s response to investigate the specific transaction. Cancellation, refunds and data deletion remain separate requests; avoid treating an unanswered question as a confirmed result.

Our subscription-cost worksheet helps separate recurring payments and optional purchases. If you later compare a replacement, the AI companion buying guide provides a broader checklist. Leaving a service does not require immediately buying another one.

DreamBF cancellation questions

Have you verified a cancellation inside a paid DreamBF account?

No. This is a public-policy review and an original record-keeping method. We do not publish unverified button names or claim that a refund or cancellation request was accepted.

Should I assume the maintenance fee will apply to me?

No. The policy describes a possibility; the relevant task is to establish the status of your own account and retain the answer.

What if I only want to stop renewal?

State that outcome clearly and retain the membership confirmation. Resolve any separate recurring-charge question before assuming your billing relationship has fully ended.
