| Main limitation to check | The public offer lists a subscription and a monthly token allowance. Feature-level rates, taxes and account-specific checkout terms still determine the final cost. Public annual pricing is promotional. | The public FAQ lists 1,000 monthly dreamcoins with the subscription. That allowance does not establish how many usable media results you will obtain. Check current credit costs, renewals and refund terms before subscribing. | Subscription access does not mean unlimited credit-consuming usage. | Generic GPT-girlfriend searches may refer to a different service. | Paid access does not make metered activities unlimited; recall accuracy untested. | Distinguish AI conversation, creator offers and additional heart costs. | Read character visibility terms and distinguish cancellation from refunds. | Multi-month XOT is delivered upfront; unlimited access is not unlimited generation. | Check entitlement and action cost; documented mode changes can clear chat. | Homepage access and privacy promises are more absolute than the linked policies. | Gems allowance is separate from chat access; do not buy for unreleased features. | Confirm renewal period and possible $1.99/month maintenance charge. |

Companions
Kindroid vs Nomi
Two approaches to a continuing AI conversation.

Candy AI vs OurDream
Documented features and questions about the real cost.
Read comparison ↗These are document-based comparisons. We have not declared a performance winner without comparative testing.
Compare the decision, not just the feature count
A side-by-side comparison is useful when it reveals a difference that matters to you. It is less useful when every advertised capability becomes another checkmark. Our comparisons focus on the intended workflow, billing structure, character controls and evidence behind the claims.
Start with one question. For Kindroid and Nomi, it might be how you prefer to configure and revisit a continuing character. For Candy AI and OurDream, it might be how conversation and media usage fit inside one budget. Write the question before browsing so that a long feature list does not replace your original need.
What a fair comparison keeps consistent
Match the billing period, subscription tier and type of task wherever possible. Use the same original fictional character and non-explicit scene for an evaluation. Record model and settings when they are visible. If one tool cannot support the same setup, explain that difference instead of pretending the conditions were identical.
Keep prices and promotions distinct. A discounted annual equivalent should not be placed beside another provider’s standard monthly payment without identifying the upfront charge. Optional credits also belong in the budget when they are needed for your expected use.
How to read an undecided result
Some comparisons end with a choice by use case rather than a winner. That is appropriate when the products solve different problems or comparable hands-on evidence is missing. Our current articles identify what public documentation supports and which performance claims require testing.
If you still cannot decide, return to the individual reviews or narrow your requirements through the buying guides. Use the memory exercise for continuity and the billing checklist for trial and renewal questions.
