The page states automatic renewal for the same price and term, and notes that additional local taxes may apply. Confirm the terms shown to your account before payment. The advertised Premium benefits include unlimited text and 100 tokens per month; that does not mean unlimited use of every media feature.

How to read the billing choice

Compare what you authorize today with what it costs to evaluate the service for a shorter period. The annual equivalent is an arithmetic comparison, not a month-to-month payment option. A lower equivalent rate does not resolve uncertainty about the conversational style or output controls. Keep the selected term, tax-inclusive amount and renewal language with your own purchase records.

Is there a free version or trial?

Candy’s homepage advertises a free trial, but we have not verified an account-specific allowance, duration or payment-card requirement. Premium access, token limits and a usable monthly budget

It describes a video option after an eligible image is generated in chat. The article identifies activities, but does not provide a universal rate card for every mode.

The replenishment explanation ties the monthly 100-token refresh to the date of the Premium subscription. Check the renewal date and token balance in your account rather than assuming the allowance resets on the first of the calendar month. We have not verified rollover, expiry or the current price of every optional token pack.

Plan a month around activities, not a token count

Set a ceiling in the currency you pay, reserve the subscription amount and decide how much remains for extras. When a token-pack price is unavailable, keep that part of the calculation in tokens. Do not invent a currency conversion. Before repeating an expensive action, inspect its displayed charge and the balance after one attempt.

For an illustrative budget, suppose ten requests consume 40 tokens and produce four usable images. The effective cost is 10 tokens per keeper, including unsuccessful attempts. These are invented inputs for arithmetic, not Candy’s rates or a measured acceptance rate. Appearance, background, speaking style and the current conversation are different inputs. A specific portrait does not show that a revised backstory is being followed. Write a compact brief before browsing: an adult occupation, an invented setting, a conversational preference and one distinguishing interest. That gives you a practical comparison beyond the thumbnail.

One neutral example is Rowan, a 34-year-old travel writer who prefers short answers, asks one question at a time and is planning an invented rail journey. Keep the brief small enough that you can tell which instruction was followed. Do not change the character, model and writing style together if you want to understand what caused a different reply.

Inside the public builder: personality and voice choices

We inspected Candy’s public character builder on September 18, 2026. The personality step displayed twelve presets, including Shy, Confidant and Caregiver. The voice selector displayed nine choices with labels such as Calm, Cheerful and Thoughtful. These controls make it possible to compare the available setup choices before deciding whether the character fits your intended conversation.

What to check next: a personality label is a starting instruction, while a voice label describes a choice in the interface. Neither establishes that the character will stay consistent during chat. Compare the written premise with a short conversation, then evaluate voice separately if it matters to you. We did not finish creating a character, run a paid session or test voice output during this inspection.

Chat and roleplay: how to assess the user experience

A useful reply should address your message, maintain the requested character and leave a sensible next turn. An immersive fictional scene can still contain a continuity error. Assess response style, handling of context and willingness to adopt a correction separately instead of collapsing them into one impression.

1. Establish: give Rowan an invented Tuesday appointment in Cedar Bay and ask for a short plan.
2. Constrain: request two options within a stated fictional budget. Record whether the response respects both instructions.
3. Correct: move the appointment to Thursday without changing the rest of the brief. Check the next plan for the corrected date.
4. Return: revisit the fact in a later session using whatever continuation the service supports. Record what was supplied again and what was recalled.

This is an original proposed protocol; we have not run or scored it on Candy AI. Keep the actual replies, date, plan and selected mode. Use a plain conversation as well as a short roleplay premise. A service can fit an improvised scene differently from a daily conversational routine. Note how much editing or steering you need to obtain the style you want; that effort is part of usability even when the final answer is satisfactory.

Candy AI image generation, voice and video

For image evaluation, use an original fictional adult character in an ordinary, non-explicit scene: an everyday outfit, seated pose and recognizable room. Keep the framing consistent. Several people, complicated hand positions and many scene changes make it harder to identify why an output missed your request.

Save the first attempt as well as refinements. Record subject, outfit, setting, framing and any artifact that prevents the intended use. Count usable outputs against all attempts. The Premium page lists Live Action alongside image and video features. The label alone does not specify the charging unit or behavior of every mode. Check the selected feature before spending tokens. For voice, compare intelligibility, pacing, session setup and interruption behavior if the chosen mode supports it. For video, record duration, consistency across frames and whether a new attempt or enhancement consumes another charge.
